Bathroom Remodel

A plan to replace a chipped and rusty sink turned into so much more work... if you replace the sink, then you might as well replace the whole vanity. If you replace that, why not the mirror and overhead light? And then the medicine cabinet won't match anymore...

Day One

Demolition time. Ripped out the vanity, wall tiles, mirror, overhead light, and medicine cabinet. This revealed a sizable hole in the wall that was previously covered by the vanity. Oh joy!

Day Two

Today was pretty much just drywall repair. It came out a little sloppy, but hopefully the texture work will blend it.

Day Three

Four words: tiling, painting, plumbing, lighting. Added the missing floor tiles, upgraded the plumbing to steel pipes, painted the walls (first coat) and retextured areas that needed it, and added the new overhead lights

Completed!

Ahh, it was worth it!
